Did you know... How many letters can be written on a grain of rice?

As in many other tourist traps of the world, near many famous sights in India you encounter artisans (or whatever they are) who for a small sum will write your or your lover's name on a grain of rice. The record holder of this craft (Indian, of course) has once managed to inscribe one thousand, three hundred and fourteen characters on a single grain of rice.
