Quick Answer: The king cobra.

The Indian king cobra (Ophiophagus hannah) usually grows to a length of 3.5 to 4.5 metres (12-15 feet). The longest specimen ever measured was 5.71 metres (18.73 feet) from head to tail. It lived in the London zoo and was already of record length when it came there. It may have continued to grow, but in 1939 it was put down because in the chaos of the World War it might have gotten free of its confinement.
